Marketing Strategy

Consult with prospects on their design and marketing needs, brainstorm creative solutions, plan and estimate costs for new projects, and pitch proposals to clients. Conduct in-depth client interviews to identify needs, establish goals, and set expectations. Take detailed notes, collect the notes of other key participants, edit to clarify objectives, and prepare a project proposal.

Creative Direction

Break a project up into well-defined tasks. Refine the vision and communicate it to other team members, answering questions, giving feedback, and providing direction as the project progresses. Maintain regular communication with clients, stakeholders, and leadership, making recommendations, noting impressions, and maintaining open communication. Own the quality of the end results.

Collaboration

Provide direct and written direction to designers, printers, developers, programmers, writers, editors, photographers, and videographers. Closely review their work, provide constructive feedback, and ensure the quality of the final deliverables.

 

Graphic Design

Create brand guides, design custom logos, refine and improve existing logos, and create custom icon sets. Design printed marketing materials including business cards, letterhead, envelopes, flyers, posters, printed maps, brochures, and conference ban- ners. Plan, write, edit, layout, design and illustrate large magazines and reports.

Drawing & Illustration

Produce working pencil sketches to develop concepts and collect client feedback. Create full-color, full-length stylized caricatures of subjects. Research, draw, and color large-scale maps. Create original characters. Complete work quickly and cleanly, at any size, using an all-digital workflow on Apple iPad Pro and Wacom Cintiq display.

Web Design

Prepare design collages to establish a design direction and secure client buy-in. Draw working concepts and create wireframes. Produce high-fidelity web site mockups and web application prototypes using Sketch and Photoshop for client approval and developer guidance. Collect photography and combine with copy to build finished pages.
