The Last Empress

Aliya Fakhoury is fourth in line to the Imperial throne of Kajmir and very happy to avoid it. Since it’s early emergence from the Darkness 500 years ago, the great city-state has conquered half of the galaxy and threatens its remaining worlds with war. As a princess of the royal house, Aliya is content to labor with her parents to combat its tyranny — until unexpected events leave her with difficult choices and the burden of absolute power.
